Yes but you need to push the dealerships a bit or they are just going to lube it up and say its fixed. There is a revised/new TSB effective August 19, 2019 that supersedes the old one and covers Tacoma's from 2005 - 2019. The new one is T-SB-0112-19. Hopefully it's helpful to some of the Manual drivers out there experiencing this.

Thanks 6MTPro. The noise has decreased now that the temps are in the 30s-50s around here in N.Illinois. I'm going to talk to the dealership and be sure they have the parts listed on the TSB and schedule an appointment.

I'll update after talking to them folks.

Does anyone know if any of the transmission tsbs apply to a 2019? Dealer said no, but it seemed like they didn't want to do anything.

Can I confirm this somewhere? Did you do this yourself and that is why you posted it? I will buy Carista in a flat second if this will do this part. I am having a horrible time with my dealer here not being able to clear a hard code on this TSS safety recall or admitting you can permanently disable the TSS. My Tacoma has a T3 CBI bumper and when they went to do the recall they said that cannot calibrate the sensor because the pre-runner grill is in the way. I don't even want to use the sensor or the functionality. I just want to use normal cruise control and I just get the run around at this dealer here in Bellevue, WA.

I want to clear the yellow error I get about the TSS being inoperable and then go disable it permanently. I was told I had to drop my front bumper and bring it in to have it calibrated to complete the recall and with all the other stuff I read on this forum with people moving the sensor in their legit or fake pro grills I am fed up with the issue of not having cruise control.

    Thanks!

These are the PCS system options in Carista. The last one, remember last state, is what TSB 0059-18 does. If you set it to enabled and then turn off the PCS system, it will remain off until you turn it back on. It will also light up the orange PCS light on the dash when set to off (same as the TSB)

I was thinking of getting a 20 TRDOR this weekend. It seems they may have not fixed a lot of the issues from 16 on.

Not that I am aware of. Tighten up the u bolts and give it some time, they should break in and stop for the most part. I just switched out to a new leaf pack from a 2018 that a friend had laying around. Building a new leaf pack.... and these new ones creak, groan and squeak. The old ones I took out squeaked for a long time, but eventually stopped.

Anyone have the leak from the rear break light done under the tsb? Just went through a car wash and my son noticed it was leaking pretty bad.

Yes. I had mine done, plus they replaced the headliner too. It had a large water stain all along the back.

Thanks. Calling them tomorrow to schedule that, frame spray, and a visit to the body shop.

Am I correct in understanding that the "Calibration ID" for ECU/PCM is basically the"tune" or programming version of the engine/transmission control modules and that if a calibration ID is updated through techstream to fix a problem associated with a specific TSB, it may also fix other problems that were associated with other TSBs addressed in that same calibration ID?

Sounds like you need to get the fuel pump recall done.

I'm having the same issues, I've taken my 19 pro into the dealer 4 times for the transmission. Every time they say the same thing, no TSBS related to my truck nothing they can do. I complained on my last review Toyota sent, and got an email back from the service manager stating to come back after this covid stuff settles down and he will take a look at it for me. I've pretty much given up on my dealership. Good luck

The TSB's were written in 18, so they only include 16-18. At least that's what my dealer said on why they couldn't apply it to my 19.
