Dimming Circuit Tie-in Near Center Console

I'm in the process of installing a couple additional switches in my center console (same area/row as the ECT switch) and need some advice regarding where to tie-in to the dimming circuit.

I previously installed a switch to the left of the steering wheel and used the tan and green wires from the cargo light switch. I was thinking of tying into the ECT switch for this new project, but wanted to confirm that the wire colors for dash illumination are the same (green and tan).

Of course, if someone has a better option out there, I'm all ears!
