Well, for all those who are/were concerned: I was able to get the emblem removed fairly easily. Took a hair dryer, heated up the name plate, flossed some fishing line behind it, and it came right off. Used some automotive Goo-gone from Autozone (a bit pricey), but it was worth it in my book.

Exactly!!! You hit the head on the nail. Tell them you won't take it unless it's clean of logos and shit.

DON'T GIVE DEALERS FREE ADVERTISING! :annoyed:

I'm glad to see plenty of others dont even leave the lot with this crap on their vehicle. It bothers me every time I see a super nice vehicle with a "Tom Dice Hyundai " license plate cover. If you ain't payin', I ain't playin'.

To further that, despite loving Toyota and Tacomas, they aren't paying me either. Zero logos except the grille T showing what it brand it is.

Every car or truck I've purchased from a dealer, I tell them no dealer badges on paint. I'm OK with a dealer plate around my temp tag, I can take that off with 2 screws.

Best dealer I ever had put a dealership hitch cover and a license plate frame on my truck but NO badges or decals.

Hitch cover was plastic but looked good. It was removed for me during a state inspection by some kind sir that wished to relieve me of the burden of ownership.

Love your ‘Merica emblem inlays against the blue paint. I want to put them on my Tundra but worried it’ll clash with the inferno.

I absolutely hate when dealers do this. I don't buy shit from you to advertise it. I buy it because it happens to be the vehicle I want.

In some small ways, the blue in the lettering does clash with the blue of the truck, but I don't care. I've had it on for over a year, and get complements on it.

I did give some serious thought of changing it out for some black lettering, but everyone seems to have them. So I'm gonna stick with something different.

Agreed about the glued on crap that stuff has to go.

I still have the license plate frame for 2 reasons.

1 I'm too lazy to remove it until I'm not.

2 it doesn't bother me yet
