I’ve only played one in a store once, but yeah. I found that chords sound amazing, but playing arpeggiated notes were a little trickier for me.

I like your Yamaha LJ16 Billy Corgan signature acoustic guitar. I really liked and owned a Yamaha FG acoustic guitar in the ‘80s as my first good acoustic guitar. The Yamaha Pacifica PAC303-12 was only made for about 2 years starting in 1990. I bought it from Guitar Center used website for around $250.00. I didn’t have a 12 string electric guitar to experiment with and didn’t want to spend a $1,000 on a Hamer USA Eclipse 12 string electric guitar that wouldn’t get much play time. The Yamaha Pacifica electric guitars from the 1990’s are really well made, had Warmoth necks/Dimarzio pickups, and highly underrated for a used guitar.

I was considering getting one of their higher end Pacifica super Strat style guitars for my collection, but with the Hamer USA Chapparal Elite 90 & Diablo II guitars, and the Fender Japan Contemporary Strat & Floyd Rose Classic Strat guitars in my collection, I have both 22 & 24 fret super Strat style guitars. No need for more super Strat style guitars for me. I plan on buying a Hamer Special with P-90 pickups for that Les Paul Junior tone.

Are you talking about acoustic or electric? I like to strum chords on it and hear the pairs of strings ringing out. You can play arpeggiated chords on it which takes more practice, but is fun to learn. You can get some sheet music or guitar tabs, get a 12 string guitar, and learn some 12 string guitar songs as a way to learn the instrument.

Just in general I guess. I’m just starting out and learning regular guitar lol. I’m not ready for a 12 string yet. I’ve never really seen one played outside of John butler playing Ocean

12 string is just the same as a 6 string. You just fret the same strings as a 6, cept the lowest 4 strings are an octave apart and the B and E are the same octave. It's really no different or more difficult than a 6 string.

Cool. I still got my hands full with my acoustic and electric haha. Although I’ve been kinda wanting a tele and a new amp already

That’s cool! If you’re wanting to get a Tele, I would highly recommend the Reverend Eastsider T (Pete Anderson signature model) for a Tele style guitar. The neck on mine is maple with rosewood, has a graphite nut, locking tuners, and the fretboard is compound radius. The body is korina and is hollowed out under the pick guard which makes the guitar resonant acoustically when it’s strummed unplugged. The neck is bolted on with 6 screws and it has a 6 saddle bridge. If you look at mine in the group shot, I modified my Eastsider T with EMG T pickups and an SPC module in place of the tone pot for some midrange boost under the hood. :burnrubber: What kind of amp do you plan on buying? I have quite a few amps as well.

I understood some of the words  it also sounds expensive and way out of my price range lol.
I literally just started playing maybe a month and a half ago. I picked up an Epiphone ES-339 and a Hummingbird. I’m loving both so far, just had them properly setup this week. My girlfriend would murder me if I bought another guitar right now. As far as an amo though I could swing one of those. Probably just a basic tube amp. I currently have a fender mustang II which has been good so far I just want something a little different.

I understand. Just play what you have and learn to play better. I bought mine used from a guitar gear website for $600 plus shipping. Lots of great amps out there. Just go to the local Guitar Center or local music store to try a few when you're ready. Tube amps are fun and gives the guitar a good tone to work with.
