You posted asking for advice, that is how everyone is involved. I contributed on post 43.

this situation is resolved. It’s dead. It’s done. No need to continue to lash out at each person for anything.

go ahead and post your obligatory “last word” comment. Don’t worry, I won’t post anything else so you can keep it.

Yea man, honestly speaking today made me respect the company. He’s a good dude and I told him that after this is all squared away I’d be happy to do business with him one day.

Man you’re reading comprehension really isn’t up to par. I blatantly stated I didn’t want the name of their company referenced. It’s always interesting to watch the overly confrontational and condescending people call others dramatic. Nothing about my stance is dramatic bro, you do you though.

    Can this thread die already?

    Deep breath in
Say "fuck it" in your head
    Hold 4 seconds
    Deep breath out
Say "let this shit go" in your head

    Repeat

I’m not listening or caring about your advice because you’re being condescending and combative giving it. Btw, what name did I call you? So far you’re the only one here being insulting to the other party.

Correct, if I wanted to initially reference the company I would have immediately done it. I was asked so I answered.

Thats not an easy nor guaranteed process. You have to submit substantiated data to prove your claim. The CC company typically notifies the vendor and requests supporting data on the situation. Typically during this time the CC company grants a credit back but after their investigation they either recharge your card or its vacated. This process takes weeks and does not always favor the card holder.

Ultimately it depends, in this case, on whether a shipping date was provided when the OP placed his order. Like in a confirmation email.

Exactly, a lot of people think they can just do a claim or chargeback and it goes away.

The other route of success is when the vendor doesn’t reply to the CC company’s request for info, which does happen.

Eight pages and this question still hasn't been answered. Makes you wonder if there's something the OP isn't telling TW. Sure he might not be a liar, but it also doesn't seem like he's giving the full story.
