i recently bought Sound Ordnance B-8PTD after hearing from some here it would fit under the driver seat. It would not. The sound is pretty good, but I'd like it more out of harms way. Good to know this Rockford is a 2.5 Gen AC confirmed fit!

I will note: there was a SLIGHT rub with the bottom of the seat, so I placed a spacer between the seat support and the floor mount for a slight lift. It could have been done without but I did not wish to scrape the sub at all.

I haven’t done it but I took the cubby out to see. It doesn’t look so bad. And may put a piece of indoor outdoor subwoofer carpet under the holes. I will likely be doing it later this summer. I bought a Dometic fridge and and an awning in the mean time :D

    My 2008 TRD Off Road!

Just finished a ton of installs.
-Raptor Lined the bottom half of the truck including chassis, fender flares, rock guards, tailgate and bumpers.
-Bilstein 5100 & Toytec add a lead in the rear and Bilstein rose height adjustables in the front.
-KBVoodoo 10” Max Modular Rack with bakflip adapter (making the x2 tonneau fully operational).
    -Smittybilt rooftop tent

A bunch more stuff too. Thinking of making a thread for my build as I’ve learned a ton. More photos soon.

Interesting. Is that some type of support bar between your shackle hanger skids?

Not earth shaking but not bad using factory sub amp.

That box looks huge for what I assume are 6x9's? And ported as well. Was that box made to some specifications for those speakers or just what you did on the fly? Why not a 6" or 8" sub?

I always appreciate DIY boxes, I've made 3 for my access cab but more like center consoles & bigger to accommodate subs.

I did a little research and the box may have come out slightly bigger than I wanted but it’s a damn sight better than the factory sub. Why no real sub you ask. I used the factory sub amp, had the speakers in a different box and all I paid for was paint and port material. I do intend to put a new system in when I save enough money.
