You must not play classical guitar then? Long finger nails on the right hand is a standard for guitarists who fingerpick and there’s no shame in that. Just keep them clean!

Welcome! What year is your Gibson Les Paul Standard? Any pictures of your Ovation acoustic/electric?

That’s ok. I’ve learned to play classical guitar in the past so playing with my right hand finger nails grown out and using a foot stool on my left foot is standard procedure for me. Do it right or go home!

    Naw, it's legit.
Les Paul had a model called the "Axcess" or something.

That does look awful. Bigsby with a Vibramate is the way to go on a Gibson.

Form over function I guess. Both bigsby and vibramate fall into that traditionalist mindset, but both are junk especially when attached to that antiquated tune o matic. As much of a pain in the ass a floyd is to live with, it solves pretty much all of Gibson’s issues with staying in tune due to poor design.

That they are. Les Paul’s are the epitome of the love hate relationship.

That's a Gibson Les Paul Axcess with a Floyd Rose tremolo bridge. The way the neck joins the body is designed with no neck heel which makes it great for playing leads higher up the neck without stretching out your thumb to play the upper frets. I actually like the Floyd Rose tremolo bridge as well. Gibson also makes a tunomatic/tailpiece version as well. I'm not a fan of the Bigsby bridges on a Gibson guitar either. Leave that to the Gretsch guitars instead.
