    I only have 2 things…
You get what you pay for &
This is part the reason spacers have a bad rep; cheap versions have to cut corners somewhere (other being install error/over torqued lugs breaking studs).

Yep, I bought this truck at hgreg, they told me that it was a trade in, therefore sold as is.
No accidents, pretty good all around, this is the only issue I've had since I bought it. Maybe I wouldn't have noticed those cb were different if I didn't install the spacers..

I'll send dropstars a message to see what they say.

Well that would imply that nothing is sliding around, so it must be tight enough.... so something else isn't lining up. Apologies if I missed it, but the spacer should have come with lugs, yeah? Did you use those to mount the wheel or to mount the spacer? When I installed my spacer it came with lugcentric lugs, even though it was a hubcentric spacer. These needed to be used for the spacer to hub mounting. Then, re-use the original wheel lugs for mounting the wheel to spacer.

As some others commented, perhaps the lugs aren't properly centered on the bore of the hub. Definitely try moving the spacers between the front and back wheels and see if the vibes change.

Yeah, I like living on the edge
    Just kidding lol.

I understand. If it were only for reputation, I would have never installed spacers on my truck as there are a lot of people saying they're bad.

I got spacers for 2 reasons. The truck was heavily rubbing when turning, and I also wanted to have the wheels aligned with the fender flares. I don't go off-roading or put excessive stress on my truck, I only use for my daily commute.

I decided to take the risk by trying these as they have pretty good reviews. Nonetheless, upon receiving them I literally looked for reasons not to install them. However,
measurements from bolt length to hub thinckness where pretty good and matched exactly what I needed.

I'll try Windigo's suggestion. If that doesn't work, I'll give Spidertrax a shot, and if that doesn't work either, I'll just leave my truck without spacers for now.

    Thank you!

Yes, exactly as you say. the spacers came with lugs that I used to mount them into the hub, then I used the stock lugs to mount the wheel on to the spacers, I took special care in centering the wheels, by gradually hand tightening them and making sure they were centered prior torquing.
But I'll check that again when changing the position of the spacers this weekend.

Sounds like you did everything correctly then, just need to narrow it down to see if it's a manufacturing defect. Good luck!

    Thank you!
I just saw that brand but I was afraid to ask, it also has pretty good reviews on the spacers I want:

KSP 6X5.5 Wheel Spacers Fit for Tacoma 4runner, 1.5 inches Forged Hub Centric Adapters Kits fit 6 Lug Wheel, Package of 4, (B07DLX519N) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06VWQHDTD/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_i_.Xw1EbZNA4H7W

Couldn't find spidertrax in 1.5inch, so the only one left is bora, which is the most expensive of all I have seen today. $250 plus tax and shipping..

    :rain:

I'll keep doing my research while returning these.

Just make sure you get the extended lug nuts too. They're an added cost, but worth it.

Nothing's wrong with spacers. The hate is unwarranted, and from people who have heard horror stories from improper installations. Use loc-tite with good torque settings as suggested in this thread already and you'll be fine. I check mine every time the tires are rotated and they've stayed tight. I tow a LOT and actually wheel mine, so these have been well-used under relatively tough conditions.

    I'd return those spacers stat.
Saw a guy on instagram who had a cheap spacer crack on him and he almost lost a wheel on the highway.
