I was a Jalop from way back, and then on Oppo daily since forever, met a lot of friends on the overland sub board and still contact through IG; HFP, Tim, etc. Even went through the first and second Gawker collapse.. got to the point where I wasn't sure Oppo would be there each day and I bailed. Haven't been back in a year or so, don't know whats up over there anymore..

 

It sounds like you were there well before me. I came in just after the first collapse and during the initial Kinja fiasco.

It has been about a year for me also. I read maybe three articles the year prior.

I miss the old comment section. Some of the funniest stuff ever posted.
