It’s definitely not done yet. I really don’t want drill any more holes in it because it looks soo good. I wanted to see as much of the wood as possible and these are the results. My homie does custom cabinets/staining and had some left over stain and satin clear. It came out better than I could imagine.
Going in my 19 Tacoma. More to come!

Very clean looking setup. The stain looks great.

    My thoughts exactly!

I've had a few 2nd gens back in my day. This sedan has been sitting for at least a couple of years. I've finished rebuilding the engine and currently in the process of getting it tuned. I had a 93 DB2 that I repainted back in 2008 but gotten rid of it(wish I didn't). My first 2nd gen was a hand me down 92 black DB1 automatic.

After tuning, I'll be working on the body and painting it either Tamc Bright White or Jet Black with their high solid clear.

I ran into an issue when installing the enclosure and rack. The hole cut out for the child safety harness loop was cut too far to the right. Marv is making a replacement and shipping it over.

The enclosure alone with the 2 amp racks was 280. Eventually, a DSP will be assigned to the left of the sub enclosure and the right will be crossovers and amps.

The build quality alone was definitely worth it. He uses birch instead of MDF, which I liked because I really wanted to highlight the wood.

Marv is one amazing dude.... I am in Seattle and highly considering going down and picking it up instead of shipping it (an excuse to take a road trip and get away from the office and riots in Seattle). His prices are outstanding, but keep in mind they are going up because of the cost of his materials, FYI for people about to order. Its worth it though.

That box looks amazing. Mr. Marv does some damn good work. Got a box from him last year and the quality is top notch on top of the fact he's a great guy. Was nice to chat with him for a little while picking up my box. Highly recommend him!
