    no, its in english.

i did that on purpose, it has a serial number and an IMEI number. just in case i shouldnt be giving those numbers out since i have no idea what it is. my guess is that its maybe a lojack type of thing or some data monitoring device.

I was kidding. It’s likely some sort of data thing. Try googling product or serial numbers and see what pops up. Doesn’t look like a dealer installed alarm, I’m curious to know what it is

Likely a GPS tracker, installed by dealer for inventory control, and repossession purposes.

It looks like the smart control module for my N2 Designs remote starter.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Are you leasing this vehicle? I'm just curious why a dealer would install such a thing unless they want to make sure they get it back at some point.

I'd get rid of it. I wouldn't want to know there is someone else out there who has the ability to remote start (and possibly more) my truck.

You can call carlink and see if you can get it transferred to yourself. If not simply unplug it. It won't change the functionality of the remote start.

Everyone here is wrong unfortunately. This isn't (even though housed identically) a telematic control device. This is a tracker. Similar to (or maybe even this) if OP reveals brand or model number on the back...I say this because it's being used as stand alone...which means GPS only. How do I know? It's not plugged into a remote start rather the OBDII port. Our products can be used the same way, but only for GPS tracking and only need power supplied. This being plugged into OBDII means it's polling data like speed, etc...it cannot command a vehicle to remotely lock/unlock, start/stop remotely with this setup.

Here is another thread just like yours where same was discovered and revealed: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/yet-another-name-that-part-2019-drivers-kick-panel.630011/

That makes sense, my work truck (owned by the company I work for, leased to me) has something like that in the OBD Port. I actually put an OBD Splitter on mine so I could leave their tracker on and still run a Scan Gauge. If the Dealership you bought the truck from didn't tell you they were going to put that on/in your truck, I would have a problem with that.
