I got screwed out of a fifty dollar discount on a price match (which is admittedly not a lot of money but it's the principle) because the sales person never called back when he promised to do so. So the warning is for you to take their name and extension when calling them, which I failed to do because I trusted him to follow through. Subsequent calls had them not honoring my story and so I decided to simply not order anything.

    Here’s my story:

I ordered Bilstein 5100s and a bed cover on Aug. 5th.

With the coupon, I wasn’t going to find the Bilstein cheaper anywhere else and they advertised free install for the bed cover.

The Bilsteins were advertised as next day pick up and the bed cover was 3-5 days.

I get an email saying my card was denied and found out my bank thought it was fraud because they tried to charge two different amounts.

I call and say I squared it away with my bank and to try again. Corporate says it will be faster to make a new order.

In that process, I never got a confirmation email, tracking number, order number. NOTHING! But my card was immediately charged.

I finally email the lady who emailed me that my original order was declined. She gives me an order number that takes days before I can use their order tracker. Once it finally works, the guy ordered the wrong parts despite having my original order number and my specifically telling him I wanted 5100s.

I email again and they get it “squared away.” Then when I ask for an update, they go dark.

On the 17th, I email the store I was having it shipped to and they send me an email saying they are still waiting for the bed cover (12 days later). When I ask about a quote for install, they go dark.

I sent an email asking for an update on Monday(24th) still nothing. I email the reps who originally helped me, again dark.

Finally today, I went in store to get an update and it’s “the bed cover just arrived yesterday.” (21 days after original order)

I ask for a quote. They quoted an install of 5100s, UCAs I bought from another store, the bedcover(supposedly free install), and alignment for $1600+. I grabbed my items and left.

I called my local 4x4 shop with great reviews and recommendations (shoutout to Central Coast 4WD in Soquel, CA) and they quoted $560 for everything mentioned above except the bed cover which I’m going to do myself.

Never again will I go to 4WP, I’d rather just ask a validated TW vendor for a price match.

****WARNING: on 4WP website it specifically says they will NOT cancel an order, so beware*****

The irony about this warning is they advise you to talk to a rep when making an order to make sure everything is ordered correctly.

    I've had about a 50/50 experience with 4wp.
If you buy rims - have them shipped to the nearest store NOT to your home. I believe they pallet ship bulk to the stores which better protects your merchandise. They UPS'd my rims singly, in the retail cartons (no real protection) and they looked like they tossed them onto my driveway on the way by. All 5 went back for a refund and I bought elsewhere.
Non-cosmetic items or light-weight stuff has been fine.
