terrible luck. I had to replace my cats for a smog test and 2 days after I had them replaced, the transmission was getting stuck in low gears. I brought it back and it needed a transmission control module, paid for that, and noticed “radiator flush” on the work order. I asked about it. It milkshaked... and they weren’t even going to tell me about it. I expressed my feelings, and drove the frontier across the street to Toyota to trade it.

My previous vehicle, 2015 JK had a radiator failure about 6 months in though I think it was a problem from day 1. I periodically thought I could smell coolant, but that was about it. Had to add coolant every week or two. I finally managed to figure where the leak was before I took it in. It was on the radiator where the tank attaches (all plastic now) so the glue must not have been applied right. When cold it would not leak, but at operating temp when the radiator pressure was up it would. Took a lot of searching but I finally found a little pinkish crusty spot. They just replaced radiator under warranty, said it was just a manufacturing defect with really no easy way to fix it.

I think the end caps are crimped on, not glued.
