The rest it there in 2nd pic, still in the carrier bearing even.
The angle just made it look like there may be a bit of splined shaft missing.

I’m talking about the rear flange on the differential. It looks like it’s snapped clean off.

U-joints gone... The slip joint splines didn't come out till after I stopped. I banged it up pretty good at Harlen, so it has been on my list of things to fix. I reckon it should have been a higher priority. :annoyed:

Need suggestions on a hitch mounted bike rack to carry 2 mountain bikes cross country and a single bike around weekly. Any of y’all that mountain bike have suggestions on a sturdy rack that won’t break the bank?

I know some good ones that have good mil discounts. Yakima, Thule.
I’ve got a rocky mount single(optional double) superb quality. I got it at a discount rate, unsure what they cost regular. But highly recommend. You can’t FULLy, open the tailgate but pretty much 98.9% when the bike mount is in it’s lowered position.

Do you know which model rocky mounts one you have? Those look really nice and they have a few on sale right now.

I’ll more than likely add a hitch to my spare tire carrier specifically for a bike rack to keep it out of the way.

I have the monorail solo. Has a hitch lock and bike lock. What I like most is it doesn’t wiggle once it’s in the hitch. And it’s not cheap material.

@Kerleyfries when are you coming up this way. I have a Thule or Yakima just sitting in my building that isn’t being used it’s a dual holder that i used to have my cross rip on. I dunno if I have a pic of it or on my truck. It wouldn’t work for me because the way the hitch is in my bumper I couldn’t lower my tailgate if you had said something before this past Weekend I could have sent it and the keys home with @BigMacMcCoy
