OME Springs

    So I'm going to lift my Taco but I have a question or two.

    I'm planning on going with Bilstein 5100s up front and a block lift in the rear.

    Initially I was going to put OME 887s on the 5100s and put a 1" block in the back. That should give me around a 2" lift up front. Sounds like a bit of rake still. I'd like to level it.

    If I went with OME 888 coils and a 1.5" (or would I stick with a 1" block?) block in the rear instead would that put me closer to level? Not looking to have a bro lean.

    Consider doing an add-a-leaf rather than a block
    Also i noticed you didnt mention new shocks for the rear, i think you need 5100’s in the rear too if your gonna lift it. Im not positive but i dont think the stock shocks are long enough...?

    Anything to reduce fuel economy
    I would think a 1” block would put you level with front with 887. Maybe even a little nose high.

    I don’t think with my measurements. Center of hub to bottom of fender.

    Driver Front - 20”
    Driver Rear - 21.75”
    Pass. Front - 20.75”
    Pass. Rear - 22.25”

    Would 888 and a 1.5” block work or not really? Heard some people who don’t like 888s

    It will work and probably be close to level. I ran 887 before moving to 886 and had no issues at all with them. I have heard people having issues but I think it’s because of the higher spring rate on 3rd gens than 2nd.
