Looking for people with experience with these tires.
    255/75r17 st Maxx c load
    265/70r17 duratrac c load
    265/70r17 ridge grappler c load
I have studded Duratracs for the winter on stock 16 wheel in 265/75r16.
I was just going to buy another set for summer but kinda way something new. That is why considering other options. Also thinking about the stt pro.
Looking for a quiet at/mt aggressive tire to put on my new ray 10s. Not a big fan of bfg as they seemed to get really loud as they wear. My winter Duratracs are load enough with studs haha.
I do still want a tire that can handle some snow but can get a mt siped if needed. I live in British Columbia and drive through Changing conditions constantly. I would like to see your vote and hear your thoughts on any other tire not suggested, as well hearing your thoughts about the tires that I suggested.
    Thanks

One last thing, currently I have the toyo at2. Like it but not nearly aggressive enough. Truck is lifted 2.5” as well.

I've got the e rated 285/70/17 ridge grapplers and i love them, way quieter than my previous terra grapplers and better wet traction as well.

Don’t have any of those exact tires, but I’ve got the ST Maxx in 255/85/16 E-load. They’re a great beat-them-to-shit tire that looks plenty aggressive and rides relatively quiet for a MT/AT hybrid.

Might be worth your time asking in the BC thread to see what local guys have to say about a good tire outside of winter

Duratracs hands down if you have to deal with alot of snow.

I like the Coopers as well. Every set I've ever owned of them wears too fast.

Ridge grapplers are cool, but a little too "bro" for me.

I have the duratracs, the wife rocks the Nitto Terragraplers. I'd say the Terragraplers are on par with the duratracs and wear better. Also, they can be had in c load.

    Food for thought.

I'm in the same boat looking at tires. I have 60k miles on my KO2s and really like them but I'm thinking of trying something new for my next set. Canadian tire has 25 percent off the Duratracs till June 4, I'd like to try the ST Maxx but heavy = bombproof, The Ridge grapplers look good but prob no better in the mud than any other AT tire. Staying around the 45lb mark your mpg is going to be Better if you drive to work lots. Do you do crazy trails or mainly FSR roads ?

I'm running 265 70 17 10 ply duratracs right now they do great at everything I do on and off road.

But when these wear out I'm planning to get either tall a skinny 33s copper stt pros or the pros in 285 33s

I’ve ran two sets of the ST MAXX, great tire in all weather. I was super impressed w/ it in the snow.

There’s also a reason that cooper doesn’t have any kind of tread wear rating on them. I got 32k miles out of my last ones, and they were loud as all hell when I took them off.

Tried KO2 went right the heck back to the ST MAXX. Tread wear be damned

Traegermaster, the stt pro is onli 51 lbs in load c the st Maxx is 54 and the Duratracs are 44 lbs I do believe. I bought lighter wheels to help if I buy a heavier tire but still would like to keep it within reason. I wouldn’t say crazy trails as I don’t have a winch bumper, but I definitely do off-road when going to some of the smaller lakes.
The only thing I have against the ridge grappler are the sipping. It’s dead straight not jagged like other tires and not nearly enough.
Thanks for your votes keep them coming.

Also, Duratracs and st Maxx are within a few bucks from each other. I have a quote saved for 30 days in each. what to do now haha.
