i bought the cable and received the download kit right after thanksgiving 2019. i am selling my Tacoma and the tune will be removed. Is the cable worth anything like it used to be? i have not kept up with the new VF tune pack stuff.

If you talk to Mat, you can sell your tuning kit. It will require the buyer to purchase a license from Mat, which I believe goes for $325.

So, if you're figuring how much your kit is worth... OVTune cost new - $325 - Depreciation for being used. Remember, you'll have to discount the kit, otherwise people will just buy new.

Also, the Tactrix cable is about $170 new, by itself. I just had to buy a new one, to replace the original that was stolen from my truck.

    Good luck!

Flash Kits are no longer sold and have a different value than the current vF software depending on what folks want to do with it. You should have no problem selling it quickly.

Especially since there’s some delays on obtaining new cables

From what folks have said, the Tactrix site has accurate in-stock listings and what looks like a good supply.

But yeah, the OG Flash Kits are going to be in demand, esp once the AT folks get 2.0.
