Sorry for the lame thread, just poking around looking for ideas for cheap cosmetic mods while i save up for a lift and proper wheels. For some reason I just can't visualize how black/dark stockers would look on my MGM access cab, and can't seem to find any fitting photos that aren't aftermarket. Not sure if it would look decent or just super tacky.

Anyone have any pics to help me out or give me ideas? Prob gonna go the plastidip route so it can be undone if I change my mind.

Also open to other colors that could look awesome.

Anyway, thanks in advance. Y'all are awesome.

I’d be interested to see too. I want to have mine done in black.

I’m plasti dipping my stock wheels black w a gloss finish. It’s a pain in the ass and I’ll never do it again. I’ve worked on it for 7+ hours. Washed the truck, cleaned the wheels, re cleaned them, so many coats.. and you have to let it get at least mostly dry in between. I’ve still got more coats of glossifier to do in the morning. Just buy some rims, it’s miserable

Here's what a 2011 Sport wheel looks like dipped black. This was a "temporary" job that lasted for 2 years before I got my SCS F5's.20170821_114351.jpg 20191125_094441.jpg

There's your answer, really tacky, trashy, drab, looking. The proof is in the pics. Also remember "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

MGM AC with stock Toyota "Baja" wheels factory black. I know it's not the sport wheels you are looking for but could help give you an idea:

Oh wow, thanks for the input, everyone. Apologies, I didn't mean to disappear, I never got any notifications on this thread and forgot about it; just happened to be poking around tonight lol.

Yeah, not totally sold on painting my wheels black, too much surface area makes it look hacky in black... I do like @DonEBeasley's matched set though. Those Baja wheels look dope too @gkomo .

Finally getting a proper lift soon so I'm gonna start sniffing around for real wheels before it's time to replace the tires too.

    Thanks again!
