Any weather strip recommendations to keep bed dry with Tonneau on

    Hi everyone, was able to grab a used tonneau cover for my taco. Seems the only thing that I’m missing is the weather stripping, to help reduce rain water flowing into the bed.

    Any recommendations? Unless I’ll just find something on Amazon

    You aren’t really going to seal that thing up then. You can use a generic rubber gasket between the rails and frame of the cover, and silicon the other holes, but ultimately; it’s not going to seal up the very well.

    Don't forget to seal the removable rail at the front of the bed, I used some RTV on mine. Even with the weatherstripping all the way around my soft tonneau I still get some leaks, from what I've been gathering sealing a Tacoma bed is a hassle.
    I've used this in the past on one of my old trucks

    I’ve bought some rubber weather seal strips with the adhesive backing to help seal up my roll up cover but the combination of the smooth composite bed and hot California weather is not making it stick very well so I gave up.
