MESO LED Tail Light conversion. NEAT!

On my new 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport it took me all of 20 minutes to pop the tail lights out and swap from the standard lights to LED and they look awesome. Easiest >$100 conversion ever!

where do you buy it?

 

I always thought new threads were best for howtos or problems/questions (that Don’t already have 101 threads). Just my thoughts… but there are 2 really great threads that you could of posted in instead btw

-obviously the dedicated Meso total tail thread
-what did you do to your taco thread… it’s a sticky

I guess (starting a thread) it reminds me of the people that post everything on social media- a picture of their dinner, what show their watching, anything and everything.

 

I actually searched for MESO threads lol and didn't find any.

The how to is really simple!

1. Pull the 2 bolts holding the tail light.
2. Pull the taillight straight back.
3. Swap cables/lights.
4. Push tail light back in.
5. Intall the 2 bolts.

I mean it's stupid simple.

Yeah great work on these! I guess I searched for MESO and NOT ME-SO. So maybe some free advertisement for you. It was actually a LOT easier than I thought it would be.

That rule applies to NORMAL stuff. This is MESO stuff, rules don't apply!

No such thing as boring/repetitive MESO anything.

 

That's a good question and I am not sure how I'll know unless someone behind me says something.

 

Which one is stock? I like the top picture and configuration better.

 

Umm both have been swapped. My daughter's car was in the way so I couldn't get the full rear view. One shows the brake lights and reverse lights the other shows the reverse lights that turn in to proper yellow blinkers.

 

Some people need them and some don’t. Most issues arise when in reverse and using the blinker (parallel parking)

 

you should be able to tell from your dash blinker indicators inside your truck
