I've got a '95 w/2.4,manual 5sp. There is some restriction somewhere in the refrigerant circuit
as the compressor is working fine and it's just been vacuumed and recharged completely, but the air coming through the vents remain at ambient level. Any ideas fellas? Thanks in advance.

If you are sure that the compressor is engaged, I would CAREFULLY touch the inlet and outlet tubes as close to the compressor as you can. The high pressure side should be very hot (careful here!) and the suction side very cold. If not, I would look for issues in the refrigerant circuit. If the temp's are hot/cold as described, I would look for issues with air flow control within the dash.

Thanks Hobbs! My next door neighbor is an AC tech and is gonna fix it as long as I supply parts! Super deal! Unfortunately my front brakes are VERY tight, so much so that I don't need a parking brake. I'm gonna replace the old hoses as I suspect they're swelling. Don't need AC again until truck will move!
