Truck is 2009 V6 (in my bio) 202k miles doing a water pump soon as I noticed my water temps cruising at 193ish. While parked and the key in the on position I thought to check for codes. No codes, so I hit the “stored codes” option and this happened.

Has anyone seen something like this?

Appears to be all pending codes. You'll have to go through each one, or use a real scanner.

BTW, interesting how it counted up by hex, which appears the 74 pending codes are actually 116 codes.

Thats odd. Was the truck running? Ive never checked for codes with the key on, but engine off. Also whats the firmware version of your SGII?

Also, just FYI 193*F is dead on for a normal coolant temp. Not sure I would start changing stuff based on that alone.

Truck was not running, key turned to on. I'll check firmware version in a second.

Temp goes from 193 to 210 when idle

Might consider pulling the fan shroud & fan and washing the radiator with a garden hose. Just did mine this past weekend, not a bad job. Its amazing all the crap that came out of there.

Not trying to dissuade you from doing a water pump, just throwing an idea out there

Also, I would check pending codes with the engine running instead

Hosing off a radiator sounds like a much more fun time than a waterpump!

Engine on/off for pending codes should not matter. Personally I'd note the codes then clear them all and see what comes back. I'm not believing 116 codes. That of course assume that the truck is currently not engulfed in flames... I think there was an "event" along the way that confused the system.

Damn, my truck doesn’t get above 196 at highway speeds. Somethings definitely not right

Yeah that's way off. My truck gets to 180* max. I did change the water pump maybe 12-15k miles ago. I do notice that after wheeling it goes up a touch but I always spray off the radiator and condenser.
