    History

This truck used to belong to someone I know who bought the truck back in October of 2015, they had it for years and took well care of it while also modifying it along the way, all bolt-on stuff really but high-quality parts from companies like Icon, Dakar, OEM Toyota parts, etc., which were all well worth over $10,000. One night some idiot crashed into the side of his parked truck on the street and the insurance company deemed it totaled. Since I knew the truck's value and was ok with the damage I went ahead and actually bought it on the salvage auction. The damage was almost all bodywork, paint, and replacing a few components. None of the damage was too serious and it was a quick fix. I had a body shop repair it for me and after a few months, it was back on the road. I went ahead and upgraded a lot of the basic worn-out components and just dialed the Tacoma in. To me, this truck is modified just enough for being an extremely fun daily driver while also being very capable of going off-road. This is just a brief history, I do have some paperwork for this truck also but that's too much to write on here. I am also listing the repair details below so you know that the extent of the damage was not all that bad. The overall condition of the truck is good, paint has chips and scratches as usual. The interior is in very good condition and has all-weather floor mats.

First, gorgeous truck. The thing that is really going to hurt your re-sell value is being that it has a salvage/rebuilt title. This is going to narrow down who would be able to buy it since most banks don't issue loans for salvage/rebuilt titles and I'd venture to say most people don't have $20k+ cash burning a hole in their pocket. Also, you also should keep in mind that the cost of the aftermarket parts you added does not add the same value to the vehicle. For multiple reasons, but mostly that on paper it is still a stock truck. Also kind of like getting a celebs autograph and they sign it To: your name, well not everyone has the same name as you. Having said all that I wouldn't sell that truck for less than $25k, actually I wouldn't sell it at all - it's too nice. But, find the right buyer and you can name your price.

p.s. Why are you wanting to sell anyways?
