Happy to help. You might have luck getting the dealer to replace them under warranty since it occurred during their oil changes. Toyota part number for the complete hardware kit is PTR60-35160-HW, $40 to $60 typically. It includes all the bolts, screws, and spacers if you want go that route.

Anyone have the part for the bracket that the oem skid plates bolts into ? My front ones are stripped, going to try and use a thread chaser or replace those brackets.Any other advice or tips is appreciated.

So I’m needing bolts that are long enough to fasten the rear of front 3/8” steel TRD skid to front of transmission 3/8” steel RCI skid to (through) bolt hole in frame. All I can find are the “standard” length. What i need are bolts close to an inch and a half. I appreciate your help!

I used 8 x 1.25 50mm to join the 1/4 in. aluminum TRD PRO skid plate to RCI transmission skid. I got mine from Ace Hardware 10.9 grade:
The oem front steel skid plate I think is 1/8, so you can probably use 8 X 1.25 X 40.

Thanks for your response, very helpful! Sorry should have clarified. I also have the 1/4” aluminum TRD front skip plate (plus the 3/8” steel RCI plate plus unknown frame thickness). So the 8 x 1.25 50mm is what I’m looking for. Stupid question, is the frame bolt hole threaded or do I need a corresponding bolt?

The frame is threaded. You remove the 2 bolts at the back end (See post 19, small 2 bolts bottom of skid) of the TRD skid plate and replace them with the longer 8 x 1.25 50mm. The RCI transmission skid will sit between the TRD engine skid and the frame of the vehicle.
Theres also those retaining screw washers. you can add them to the new bolts.

Thanks again. Went to Ace and found just what you described.

Reviving an old thread to say thanks and mention that you can get a replacement from Lowe's with a captive washer for ~$1.75 each. You will find them in the specialty fastener drawers. They have a couple drawers labeled automotive. PXL_20230522_204356097.jpg

Update. Last oil change I accidentally buggered up one of these screws and ordered a bag of replacements on McMaster. If anybody needs replacements PM me, I may be able to save you a few dollars.

While we are talking bolt size - can someone tell be the bolt diameter and thread pitch (I know the length) for the bolts I need to install a steel skid plate to replace the stock fron skid plate for a 2022 Off Road. The bolts mount to radiator core support in the front.
