Hey everyone. Just bought a 2014 DCLB limited in silver with 102k miles to replace a car my wife crashed a few weeks ago (everyone was OK in the accident). I've been cruising these forums as a guest while researching the purchase but now that I own it, I've joined the fray.

I'll be using this truck as my daily, for hauling my wife and two kids, mountain bikes, my doggo, and all the other junk I used to throw inside my SUV. I plan on staying stock for the most part with the exception of a front leveling kit and some plus-size tires. This truck will be seeing beach duty here on Long Island where the sand is soft and sugary so some bigger tires and ground clearance will help. I'll be cleaning the chassis real good and spraying the bottom with Fluid Film before hitting the beaches!

I'm having the JBL Nav unit glitch (unresponsive, random powering off) and the selling dealer said he would help with the replacement. Can I get an OE unit that won't do this or should I go aftermarket? It's not that bad a unit but I wouldn't mind Apple CarPlay and some more modern tech. Thoughts?

Carfax said the car was a one-owner vehicle which stayed in NY for its whole life. I'm pretty pleased with the purchase thus far. I'm going to inspect the brakes and service the diffs, x-fer case and trans with new fluids for peace of mind. Any other time-bombs I should be looking for?

Welcome! I'm glad no one was hurt in the crash.

In regards to the radio, I would recommend a new aftermarket radio instead of an OEM style myself. Android Auto, Car Play, worth getting now.
