two stereo questions..pioneer p3100dvd

    3" skyjacker Lift,Pioneer touch screen unit. Relentless Rear Bumper.
    So i have a 1tb external hard drive and was wondering if there was any way to just play the files on the hard drive on my p3100dvd? every time i plug it in to the stereo it says it can't be played.

    second question is how do i play my movies off my ipod on my p3100? everytime i try it doesnt work? anyone have ideas?

    check yur owners manual. Most likely the video files have to be in a specific format to be playable.

    I can't get videos to play off my ipod on my p4100dvd for some reason either.
