Hi all, my 2007 v6 prerunner is not shifting in to overdrive and it appears that there is some slipping going on. Any thoughts? advice? I have run the truck through techstream and was able to get the following diagnostic codes.

Stuck solenoids and Evap Emissions problems. A transmission flush might take care of the sticking solenoid issues.

MY trans is starting to take longer to up shift sometimes, I have to let off the gas to get it to shift in some instances. I did two drain n fills at 50k mi and I now have 95k mi

Temporarily what I do is shift it to 4, then back to D, then it up shifts. For a permanent fix, I think member Gearcruncher has mentioned a product for the valve body that may resolve the issue. There is a pressure screw that can be tightened that will make the shifts stronger, but not sure if that will help ot or not

I do the same thing, or I'll let foot off gas and reaccelerate and it will shift. Wasn't sure if you found a fix

Reviving a 5 yr old thread because 99% of trans threads are 3rd gen related. Is the fix still to shift from 4 to D? That's what I'm doing now but I'd rather fix whatever is wrong.

After I regeared my diffs, trans pretty much stays in OD now.

A friend's truck was having a similar problem, but his truck had 160k on it, never serviced the tranny. I suggested to do a full flush and refill with dealer specified fluid. Took care of the issue.

I did a flush at 100k. It's at 120K now but no towing and trans temps are always under 200 (More like 180). I don't think it's a failure of the trans I feel like it's a software issue. It shifts smooth as can be otherwise.
