did you have to cmc or do any trimming?
I have the stage 4 6112/5160 from runnin4tacos with SPC upcs.
    https://www.runnin4tacos.com/produc...spension-kit-2005-2020-toyota-tacoma-lift-kit

still have the stock trd off road wheels as of now though. been quite curious if 285s would fit no problem. I’m a big fan of the nitto ridge grapplers too that’s why. was told by my father to stick with a 265/75/16 to be safe but was curious to see if 285s could potentially fit.

prob answered but yes... TMPS is specific to the vehicle. As long as you use the same TMPS on that Vic you can swap wheels... even then some can be interchangeable and reset (typically within the same manufacturer). Valve holes are pretty much the same in every wheel. Unless it’s a commercial/ high performance Vic.

Nitto RG!!! 285/70? What load range?

    Edit:
Found the answer! What load range? I have them on my truck but they put Pmetrics on and I hate the looks. Rounded shoulder or something. Ordered new ones, I can’t get over it.

    Also just ordered 6112/5160s.
So essentially you are running a 2-3 lift? Thought the 5160 was only rated for 1.5? Is the AAL option squeekey?

    I think I am just doing a 1” block.

0 rubbing for daily driving. I did go out for some hard wheeling this last weekend and I do rub a bit on fender wall and driver side rear fender and it is very minimal. I probably won't trim anything and no need for CMC. I do have Camburg uniballs and caster is 4+. But take this with a grain of salt, all trucks have slight variations.

I'm under 2 in bro and no squeaks from my leaf packs. I did pull them apart and grease each individual leaf during install. And my tires are C load.

I am planning to get these wheels for my ORDC, and am wondering if anyone can confirm that 255/75/17 should fit on the stock suspension?

Seems like they should but I am worried that they will rub.

You should easily clear the 255/75, especially on a 3rd gen. Absolute worst case you may have to heat up and form a small spot/area of the mud flap a little, but with a 255 I doubt you'll even have to do that.

Thanks for the confirmation, I assumed so based on tire size calculators etc. I appreciate your feedback.

Bought a 2020 Black TRD Sport a month ago and received my black TRD rims from Bam Wholesale. I had the truck and rims ceramic coated.

I went to Costco for tires and installation and said they didn't fit. The tech put tested the rim fit with out the tire and could get the rim but the rim would not go all the way. I witnessed him with another rim with the same result. Anybody have any thoughts? Unfortunately I did not take any pictures.

What size are your tires? And does the spare fit under the truck?

285-70-17 and I don't have mine under the truck. I gonoff roading every weekend and need it more accessible if something were to happen. But there are a lot of posts where folks have fitted that size under the truck.

Thanks man. Im look for bigger wheel and tire since I feel like it'll look better with my long bed. Ideally I would want skinny 33s on with these rims but I'm a bit confused on whether they would fit or not on the sema wheels

I was confused too after a lot of reading. Wanted 285 but didn't want a cmc either. Then I looked a pizza cutters cause I heard they don't rub, but then heard they rub with these wheels. Went back and forth for a while and finally decided if I'm going to rub i'll get what I want and went with 285-70-17. I did also get uca's and have caster at 4 plus degrees and I do not rub at all daily driving. I also wheel pretty hard and have minimal rubbing on driver side only. And not the can mount, on a piece of plastic. I haven't even bother trimming since it's so minimal. My suggestion is get what you really want and good luck!

Couple questions for the group on these wheels and tire setups.

Seems to be everyone is running the OEM TRD Pro Wheels from the 4Runner. Are these the 17x7 -4 MM offset?

Also i see a lot of people are running the 265/70/17 Wildpeaks or K02s with no rub on stock suspension. Has anyone tried a Nitto Ridge Grappler in the same size and what was their experience with them?
