Thats what I thought. Also saves the hassle of having to prewire and prep the battery box and getting all the parts individually.

Just not a lot of reviews for this product so I don't want to jump on it yet.

If i ever try and do a solar setup this looks like a good kit pre made is a huge plus! If the components are some what of good quality looks like a no brainer.

That looks sweet! What type of solar setup would you be using with it? I’ve been thinking of something similar for camping with a separate 2nd battery system in the bed.

I’ve been reading and doing some research in the gold zero 100 or the 1400 are really good choices. Spoken with a few people that have them and use them and they love it. And all you do is plug the panels right to it. And you can add a second battery to the set up.

I'm liking the goal zero because of the ease of install and how plug and play it is.

I can easily switch the system between cars, even the charger via alternator is easily taken off and transferred to another vehicle

I wouldn't want to leave that in the bed of the truck. Doesn't look the least bit water resistant with the inverter strapped on top like that. Still gotta buy a battery, too. After building my own system, id probably just get a goal zero if I did it again.

    Ahh interesting.

Its been so hard since its almost like a 50-50 split when I look through the forums and their preference.
But since Im not very handy when it comes to wiring, I might have to opt for the goal zero. So much more stuff can go wrong on the road if I built my own especially since Ive never done something like that before.

Just make sure you do some research and some YouTube video watching. When I was looking at them a lot of people were saying that if you kill the battery all the way it poses issues for the battery to recharge completely and it damages the battery. And I’ve seen these things going used for pretty much close to what they’re selling for. So just beware and do your research. Spend a hour watching some YouTube videos.

I had a friend who is highly experienced help me build my system. I was lucky to have him. My system is 0% portable, which is another huge plus for the goal zero.

Pulled the trigger and got the goal zero 1400 for $1500 brand new from a local Craigslist seller.
