I purchase my 2011 Tacoma the other day, black, 5-Spd, basic model, with 92,000 miles. This truck is superseding a 1995 Ford F150 XLT, 4WD, 5-Spd, 8' bed, with 120,000 miles on the odo. I no longer needed a battleship that got 11 mpg when the wind was at my back and my friends were pushing. I'm not saying I won't miss the beast. Tears will be given at some point between now and the end of days.

This will be the second Toyota we own, the other a 2010 Yaris we've had since 2012. It's gotten too long in the tooth--bottom of the passenger side doors heavily rusted, plus engine issues that aren't worth resolving--so it's up for sale along with the F150. The Yaris has been a dependable vehicle up until the past couple years. Cheap to run. I'm hoping to experience the same kind of dependability with the Tacoma.
