    Soooo what bike did we order? If it’s like all other NBD it will rain for a week when it gets there anyways.

    I mean, I've got it locekd right now. but the spacer definitely isn't on there and the pin just is kinda rattling around there. hmmmmmm. This isn't the first time i've had hitch pin issues. my buddy's kuat doesn't fit on. The pin isn't long enough to go through and allow me to put the cotter pin in.

    I think I remember what you’re talking about now. Is it a black plastic spacer? I just left that piece out. The pin has some play, but it’s still serving it’s purpose of securing the rack to the hitch. The expansion bearing snugs everything nicely.

    In other news, NBD!!!! :bananadance::bananadance::bananadance:

    yeah, that's exactly what i'm talking about. i left it out for now. but i'm OCD and don't like the amoutn of play. lol. so...idk, maybe i'll figure something out later. the bearing definitely snugs everything tight.

    hey oh! NBD! always a good time when it's NBD. which one is that?? that's more shiny purple than i've seen any santa cruz bike be.

    It’s a Tallboy with gloss Ride Wrap, which added a little sheen. It’s really not as bright a purple as the picture seems. Some of that is just the editing of the picture on my part.

    X-Tigers didn’t work for me. Liked them at first but they sit too close to my helmet so they get pushed down when I hit the jank.

    here's a basic ass video of some new trails in our area, I did more of a full trail video with the sucky ass parts and commentary because no videos exist of these trails yet.

    disclaimer: hot as balls so lots of fat man heavy breathing.

    I went with the rocky mountain instinct BC after pouring over reviews and specs for weeks plus some test rides on a few bikes. I'm pretty stoked for it. its gonna be my first 29er so I have high expectations.

    this would be the one time I'd be ok with rain during bike season.
