What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Might have to try that out. I might as well just replace it. My other ones need to be replaced as does the carrier bearing. Going to shove a bolt in it for now. Its full of new grease so it should be good for awhile. I'm not going to use 4wd anytime soon either

 

Anyone have a link for a center switch blank?

A simple SPST POPO switch that will fit those holes?

 

Dude, mine gets dirty so fast. At least it cleans up easily.

 

Relocated and rewired my CB antenna and put the softopper on the truck. Also took apart my hurst shifter because I didn't install it right the first time and it was puking gear oil out of top of the trans. A little toyota FIPG and it should be good to go now hopefully



Cleaned up the wiring a bit too with some heat shrink I had laying around

 

Last weekends adventure. UCA, Coilovers, both tie rods, rear struts, leaf pack and u bolt flip. Don't even want to get into the alignment adventures....

Dig the covers. Have been looking for that style for the back seat to keep the kids mess at bay. Where d you get em?

 

Standalone for now. Eventually I will install the red arc and connect the two.

Thanks, overall real happy with it, I am going to get things all set up print some custom mounts and add a few USB charge points the it will get powder coated. And should look good. Thought of getting some new blackout dash, but after my last trip not going to worry about any scratches

Yesterday I installed some Noico sound deadening on the back wall of the cab. Kind of surprised how much of a difference just adding that 10 or so square foot made. Also pulled the hvac duct from under the drivers seat, stuffed a few rags in the channel and covered the hole with a scrap piece of the sound deadening. Going to start making a panel to hold an amp and a line out converter in that space. Also did a quick cleaning. This morning I finally ordered an Ultragauge.

 

Who has the best deal on a Prinsu roof rack? or any other similair style roof rack. I'm also thinking of getting a camper shell, any recommendations? I am planning on doing a camper shell camping setup with some custom drawers and sleeping platform. So I am thinking of getting the tall shell, let me know what you think.

I am of no personal help regarding what you are looking for but regarding the search function here I find it a bit hit or miss. I like using Google or your favorite search engine with your search terms then adding tacomaworld.com to the search terms. Usually the first listing has a link near the bottom for similar results on “tacomaworld.com” that does a pretty good job finding threads. Also check the buy/sell/trade section for stuff.
