Earlier this year the company that I work for sent me to work in another country where I will be staying for 2 years.

My friends and family all suggested I sell my Tacoma. I refused. My plan was to stash it in a storage for just a few months and bring it back with me, store it in my garage for the time being to avoid importation fees which are expensive.

Covid hit a few weeks after I started my new job, the border closed and I am not allowed to leave the country and return. I was only supposed to stash the truck for 2-3 months max. I am losing money having it just sit there in storage. I did not want to take it to my parents house because it would either be used as a farm truck and just rack up the mileage or sit in a barn and eventually get destroyed by pests.

Looking back I should have sold this thing, I would have made out pretty well. I'm not in the U.S. right now so I do not know how badly the economy was affected and if things have gone back to normal if they will get back to normal.

This truck was a TRD Pro clone of sorts. Truck is a 2018 cement Tacoma TRD Off road DCSB with approximately 14,500 miles.

    It has:
    -Tech package(cement bumper with sensors)
    -2020 Tacoma TRD Pro wheels
    -Tracoma TRD Pro skid plate
    -Tacoma TRD Pro grill(authentic)
    -Blacked out badges
    -Tinted windows

My truck was exactly how I wanted it before the company that I work for forced me to go abroad, that's why I didn't want to sell it.

A few years back last time I was forced to move, I sold my other Tacoma TRD OR DCSB gun metal grey for $33,800. It had 15,000 miles, TRD Pro wheels and TRD Pro grill.

As much as it hurts I was thinking about just selling the truck. Have Tacomas declined in value since this crazy shit came along? I know it's different depending on what part of the country you're in.

You're coming back to a low mileage Tacoma with lots of equity. If you want to sell, that's the time to do it.

I really was looking for a cement grey SR5 but man you're truck sounds like a great truck. Too bad you are probably in California far away from Pennsylvania. I would maybe be interested if the price was right.

Hopefully they pay well, nobody would FORCE me to do shit. I say keep till you get back. That way the next time they FORCE you to leave again you’ll have a paid for truck waiting on you.

He is out of the country. " I am not in the U.S. Right now" was the big tip off.
