This is the same area on the 6th, and 7th of May 2016, Black Mountain(not my pics, I just use my phone. This guy has a Canon). About a km of road in between both.
The other pics where Mont Des Cennels.

The Black Mountain is fairly easy une the summer.
But there was water holes, mud, snow, ice. Very often off-camber up and down hill.
The sun had melted one side of the 3 foot of ice, the snowmobiles make in the winter.
The side that gets the sun was water, mud and sometimes hard, and a risk of collapsing. The shady side of the trail was some kind of triangular shaped rail of ice with a crumbling surface (which helped for some grip).
But if you fell over the triangle,,,,,strap or winch, but some spots would of been very hard to perform a rescue if one were to get stuck.
2 newbies with Tacoma's DCLB, and 2 guides from the Club plus 1 dude that just alway makes it.
It was just a one night camping buddy run. Just happened to be 2 guides from club.
Forgot to breathe a few times,

    Hi Paul,

Also in Moncton. Don't do any offroading per se, but let me know if you have any questions about the area.
