I also started ATC in 1999. Pensacola schoolhouse. Got out of the Navy in 2010 and had to wait 5 months for the FAA so I also worked range control for Northrop Grumman at NAS Fallon, home of top gun. 13,000 square miles of ranges for the carrier air groups to go out and play in. Was fun. I enjoyed range control but my passion is still ATC. Take care!

Interesting how many ATC folks on here - I was ATC in the Army - left in ‘92 for the FAA but got diverted to private industry and never looked back. ATC was by far the most fun!

ATC is an awesome career for sure. Went from thinking ATC was the glow stick guys on the ramp back in high school to 21 years later at 6 different ATC facilities. Both radar and tower. 3 Navy atc facilities and 3 FAA. I still love it to this day. I can’t see doing any other profession.

Veteran plates for me. I could care less who knows I'm prior service other than cops. I've had good luck, not sure how many tickets I've avoided.

Thanks. That Quebec Veteran plate is new from last year. I think it looks sharp.

What is to the right of your license plate? Is that a reverse light or something?
