    The black strip on the hood is like the rubber piece some cars have down the inside of their door so when the door is closed it creates a better seal/less metal rub. I think its mostly there for the cosmetics though.

    When i get time ill take a few pictures of the scratches, then some after i get it painted if all goes well.

    Glad everyones liking the truck!

    Fuckin A! Score. Have always liked the stepsides. Even like the bed rails. They go with the step tubes. Very nice. Now drop it off at my house and I'll pay for the plane ride home, lol. No, really!.........Only thing I'd rather see on it is the other 1st gen split 3 spoke oem alloys. Enjoy the new ride. Have fun widdit and take care of it.

    3" Lift, Lights, CB, Yellow-Top, CBI Bed Rack, Tepui RTT, Shovel/Axe Mount, Maxtrax, ARB OBA, 33" KO2, Sliders
    40 miles on it and no mods yet. Geeze, you must be new to TW (Welcome!). Also, if your scratches have rust in them already then you need to remove the rust before painting. If you use touchup paint I would recommend also some kind of clearcoat over that based upon size of the scratch. If you plan to offroad with it then you will get a lot more scratches and fixing them is a moot point.
