400 miles on my 2020 and I can’t find a single weird thing with the transmission

One can never have too many light bars.
That's the nice thing about buying after a refresh. The technology maybe a little dated but Toyota has had millions of miles worth of user and dealer feedback as well as QC updates at the factory to fine tune their product.

Back to the 2020 v6 auto...i swear toyota had a break-in chip in my truck for the first 1k. After that it just got better and better with improved shifting and more power.

I’m sorry this is the complaint department. The compliment department is 2 doors down.

FINALLY, someone who agrees with me on that! The dang cruise control makes dang sure that when you start going up that slight hill, it then downshifts TWO GEARS, in order to RUSH you back up to cruise control speed! I hate that too! There is no reason for it. It should just ease you on back up! Now, if the ECT button was on, then I might could understand it, but I NEVER turn my ECT on, so like you, I don't get it either! I complained to the dealer, and told them to let Toyota know at one of their gripe meetings, but I doubt they ever did. I felt good though, telling them off about it!

Glad to hear Toyota has rectified their issues for the shift points and acceleration lag. Amazing what four years of additional real world application can come up with. Enjoy the ‘20 for another 20.

I need to have Toyota attempt this software update I've read about because my 17 is terrible with hills. Still love my truck but it's borderline embarrassing going up hill on a section of I75 I take.. RPMs jump all over the place. There's a fairly steep hill leading up to my neighborhood where I have to floor it to go over 10mph.

I have 1400 on my truck since April 29. Just drive the piss out of it. No complaints. If there is need for kicking it down, etc., I just slip into sport.

Just say thanks to all the crying, whining, no nothing, shoulda bought a Ridgeline, man bun wearing, early investors whom Toyota listened to - and proceded to improve their calibrations for.... several times.
    Nope, nothing to see here.
It's all bullshit that Toyota reacted to.

    Ah, gaslighting.
