I'm curious about light on the hood with this at night and if it's all that noisy. I love the look of it, otherwise.

Just took a test drive. 70 mph and zero noise. There is a bump stop in the middle of the bar that adjusts to the vehicles contour that keeps the assembly solid.

Quick question on my KC G4 fogs, since installing them in place of the Morimotos I had previously, it seems a vast majority of the light goes off to the ditches. The second photo below probably shows it the best, the majority of the amber light lands well outside the headlights, and the shape of the light cone on the ground shows how outward it is. Is that normal for 2nd gen (2015) installations?

I'm not sure how they fit into stock locations but the universal kit that I have allowed me to fully adjust the direction that they point
Sorry for you luck i guess you could put a small washer on the inside to angle them inward

Yes that is normal, and there is no left/right adjustment. The KCs flush mount rather than use a recessed mount on one side, and the late 2nd Gen the fog mounts are aimed toward the ditches. This is advantageous in fog as the primary purpose of a for is to illuminate the edges of the roadway so you can navigate in low visibility situations by seeing the sides of the road. There is still plenty of forward overlap, it just happens at a greater distance from the truck and not when the truck is super close to a wall.

Oh, it illuminates the ditches alright, that's where 90% of the light goes. Fogs should still illuminate forward to a larger degree imho.

No really, everyone tells me it's normal, but it seems excessive for what I understand a fog light's purpose is of illuminating the road in front of a vehicle in foggy conditions where it shines under the fog layer. But apparently I'm in the minority of that definition around here it seems.
