Well our dog was pretty beat up from our hike and couldn’t really walk yesterday or today, so I stayed home to carry him around (100+ lb GSD) lol

While he slept for a while, I decided to tackle some stuff I’ve been wanting to do:

Installed a vent on my Fuel Jerry to help with the expansion

I also had been wanting to do a quick color match on my grill, so I bought one can of 3P1 (wish I got 2 and a clear) and started by masking the surround



After a few passes




Finally a good time to install the emblem - OEM part # 75321-60010



I went to tractor supply and got some stainless M6 screws, washers, and lock washers. I also snagged these grommets to help space the emblem out, as I didn’t want to trim my mesh.



Added a dab of blue loctite and she’s on there!



Final product on the truck:





If I had a gloss clear overtop it’d help a little to match the hood. It’s not the best finish by any means, but I’m happy with it!

Well over the weekend my idiot self came out and forgot to put the wing nut in the swingout and I did this:



Luckily @Mobtown Offroad came through quickly and shipped out a replacement!



good as new!

also I’m stoked with the look of the new front end

 

Had 3 ideas today while working 3rd on no sleep:

• Buy a set of bar mount hi lift mounts to free up the bed rail -
  $46 Southern Powersports High Lift Jack Mount, Attaches High Lift Jacks onto 1" to 2.5" Round or Square Tubing, Includes 3 U-Bolt Sizes, Grey Powder Coated

• Mount the waterport in an unused space under the bed - maybe use the hidden hitch and extender or make custom mounts
• Make A little slide holder for my folding table using C channel - LINK

nah, @6 gearT444E posted the photo of the red truck a while ago and I just realized a kid in PA has that truck now. I know because he posts about it on FB TW a lot lol
