don't mean to sound like a noob and a simple search on Google didnt direct me to the answer I was looking for, so I'll just ask here.

What is the ECGS bushing and is it only needed for 4 wheel drive tacomas? Bout to lift my pre runner and wondering if ill need it in the future. Thanks.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the feedback. Already got some bilstein 6112/5160 ready to go on with an all pro leaf pack. Definitely want some maxtrac spindles in the future though. At which point I'll drop the 6112 to the lowest setting.

You’ve already been told you don’t need it but I noticed your question wasn’t answered:

The ECGS bushing replaces the stock needle bearing on 4wd tacomas. Specifically it’s located on the front driver’s side axle where it is inserted to the front differential.
