I once lost my wallet on a drunken weekend at a lake. We had been all over the place so I had no idea where to even start looking. A week or two later a very elderly lady that lived in the area called and said she had found it while she was fishing. Thanks to that kind lady, I will always try to contact the owner if I were to find one.

    Side note:
That was over 30 years ago, I haven't carried a wallet since.

Two buddies and I went hunting at a hunting club I was in 25+ years ago, we went out riding around looking for deer that night. Get back to the club house and one of them can't find his wallet. He said I opened the door at that intersection, it must have fallen out. Sure enough, we drive back to this intersection 10-15 miles away and there it laid in the road.

I've never lost my wallet (knock on wood).

    I have had it stolen.

I have jumped into multiple ponds/pools/lakes/oceans with my wallet still in my pocket. I've also washed my wallet probably 4 or 5 times.

    Drunk story #63

Me and a buddy had been at a lake all day, drinking like our lives depended on it. That night, as we were roaming the lake parking lots in a blur of beer and testosterone, he decided he needed to poop. So, assuming he went to the clearly marked bathroom, I walked down to the lake to piss. Oh, btw...it was dark. I ease my way up to his (lifted, 40" tires) Blazer and walk to the drivers side cause that's where the cooler was. Oh, btw again...I was barefoot. I remember this part because the dumbass had opened his door, got out and shit right there by the door. Guess who stepped in it?
    You would be correct.

My brother washed his once then decided it was a good idea to put it in the microwave to dry it out. Do you know how hard leather gets in the microwave?

That’s out of control. I would have lost it. Not in an anger way. Like... 20% anger 70% despair. Forever unclean.

    HAHAHAHAHA.

Whenever I wash mine (wallet), I pull everything out, coat it with leather lube and stick it in the sun or hit it with the hair dryer. Then I coat it with leather lube again and leave it for a couple days.
