I installed the Dasaita on my 2012 tacoma and everything seems to be working good except mic volume. People say my voice is too low and I cant seem to find the setting to increase it. I tried using a different phone and it was still the same thing. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

There is a way to do it but I can't remember. I'll look at it tomorrow and let you know if you hadn't figured it out already

Which mic do you use? The wired one or the one in the radio itself

    Question

Have any one been able to enable in the settings of the HU the automatically sync option?

Im trying to enable that option so I can install an app (dialer) of my choice.
But since I can't enable that option when I install any dialer/contacts app it won't work..

I realized my mic problem. Its using the mic that is built in the headunit and not my wired mic. Is there a setting for me to switch it?
Oh forget it I realized that the mic aired got cut during my installation...it Is now fix...thanks.

I just use the built in mic without any additional and it seems to work fine. Are you referring to the mic they included? It won't work with the factory mic.

Close to pulling the trigger. Anyone have an updated link of where they purchased theirs?

edit: for a 2014 base non JBL. I’m assuming they haven’t fixed the bezel for the 2.5 gens as well for the hazards and clock

No they have not. I picked up an old 05 radio on ebay and ripped out the lower part and that worked on the setup.

Check Aliexpress or ebay. Those are the best places. Same seller, they do sales from time to time.

Could you clarify what part of the radio you need to get the dash kit to fit?

This part. It is different on the older ones. Its a black frame that holds the hazard/clock

ah, so it's actually apart of the older radios and not part of the older bezel? interesting. is everyone's hazard clock still holding up after gluing it on?

@crashngiggles gets the thread. There's a third gen one as well. Both talk about doing updates etc

Just placed my order on Amazon since that was the best price I’ve seen so far but concerned about wiring my rear back up camera in my 2014. Do I need to purchase another cable or should it come with it in the package?
