    I have a urd headers and roost y-pipe with a 3" merge. I am running a 3" exhaust behind that but I also have a TRD catback w/ a 3" to 2.5" merge that I swap on for road trips. It is definitely choked down on the top end with the 2.5" exhaust but the bottom end of the power band doesn't feel a whole lot different

    TRD Blower, 2.3 Pulley, NST OverDrive Pulley Kit, B&M Shifter, TR Lowering Kit, Spec Clutch, Xrunner Body Kit
    These PD blowers have so much low end power. I think headers, equal length 2.25/2.5 ypipe and 3 inch catback is the best to compensate for the high end. No cats of course :thumbsup:


    And there is not much if any drop in the low end power

    Who cares about high end power anyways. Honestly I want peak power by 3k rpm and then it could fall on its face for all I care lol.

    agreed, good to see folks on both. I keep going back and forth. i have 2 black widow mufflers for a future setup 1 in 3" and 1 in 2.5". 3" back seems to be the way to go but 2.5" will prob be fine as well due to the power we put out.

    Plus it has a large intercooler or the capability for a large intercooler. Cooling those temps to at or near ambient.

    During idling though, oh yeah. Easily 140°+.
