Does that make any damn sense? Lol 14? I was getting around 17 before they replaced the radiator and flashed it.

All i can tell you i was getting an average of 21.5 mpg with the stock 245/75 16 tires. When i installed heavier 265/70 16 tires my mpg now averages 22.5
Plus compared to my gen1 tundra the odo in the tacoma reads slightly more for a measured mile. When i go in for my first service, i'm going to bring it up.

Maybe give it some time to adjust and calculate it based on miles driven vs gallons filled

Assume your ecu is just having a wtf moment not much experience but unless your towing max weigh 14 mpg reading is not right.

There is no choice in TSB tunes. Software is software.

One thing that I personally found is DTC and Learned Value Resets really helped me. You need TechStream and a connection though. Nail the Reset and then let it idle for 5min while touching nothing.

The first drive will be a bit rough, but from there it will adapt mostly to you.

I’m getting double teamed. 2017 radiator fucked, no reason. Replaced, updated ECU, 14 mpg. I literally got to my odometer like 250 to a tank. Lol. I don’t drive far and I don’t drive fast, morning cops are dicks.

    I feel for you.

A tune flash or the Resets will take time to settle in. About 400mi.

This. No way to know until you give the computer some time to forget about it’s subliminal Japanese engineering. China FTW!

Hope so! It was a 2017 with less than 33,000 miles radiator had “no physical damage” had a like 10 page thread on “where the fuck is my fluid going” I still dk what the fuck is going on. It’s like they filled it to my hashmark and it’s not there. Lol

Just a shot in the dark, I’d guess the long term fuel trims all reset with the reflash. Give it a couple tankfulls.

How do you flash the ECU or reset it in a 2020? I need to get my mpg's and odometer reading correctly after installing larger tires.

There nothing that can be done there. The Hypertech SpeedoHealer does not work on 2019s or 2020s. TechStream is no help either.
