    Hey guys,

Couldn’t find a thread on this I liked. I have a 2009 Tacoma 4-door with the shorter bed. Has anyone had experience hauling bigger ATVs in them? Specifically Honda Rubicons from like 2015-2020 year models? The specs are 47.4” wide, 51” wheel base and 84.5” long for a 2020 model. I’m wondering if I can fit one in my truck and if so, will it ride good and/or safely?

    Thanks!

It will fit but the atv back tires will be setting on the tailgate. I have a 6 ft bed and haul my Yamaha grizzly with no problems. I put wood blocks in front of my atv to keep it from hitting the back window. My atv back tires set just in front of the tailgate but not enough to close it so I just use a couple of ratchet straps.

A bed extender should benefit you. I remember seeing that strategy portrayed in the 2.5 Gen brochure lol. You should also take those measurements and make it does fit in the bed all around
