    Yeah, I keep a coat of “ Mav Coat on mine. I live in Michigan, “Rust Never Sleeps”. Just another part on the truck to take care of. Great parts both the TC stiffners and the Mav Coat, @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc hooked me up. Mav Coat is great for suspensions rust prevention.

    at the end of the install video Rago pulls on the sides of the bed to show how the stiffeners work. There is still a bit of flex but noticeable better... has anyone seen or can make comparison videos just pulling on the sides like that with the Cali Raised and Total Chaos ones?

    From what I’ve seen these things are way over built. You aren’t supporting the Great Wall of China. A simple L shaped piece of flat stock should work.

    But then they couldn’t charge what they do for them.

    The flat stock would be much less intrusive.

    I don't find them interfering with unloading and the ones that I got (At The Helm) were designed not to interfere with carrying sheet goods. They really don't stick out very much and the extra tie down points alone make them worth it.

    I'd tend to agree, I'd let it go... UNLESS, OP is planning to install a whip antenna on that side. That could lead to a funk angle for the whip. But short of that, I'd probably let it go.
