Hi, I don't see any forums dealing with Ladder/Lumber racks, so I'm posting here.

I am having a tough time researching online for equipment that fits my vehicle.

I have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. Short Bed. Double Cab. Manual Transmission.

I keep seeing websites advertising Tonneau Covers that work with a ladder rack. What!? This sounds too good to be true.

The main issue I am having is that no matter what website I shop on, each one has a different way of entering the vehicle info or no way to enter the vehicle specs at all. Even Amazon's "Your Garage" Feature doesn't seem to understand what model of truck I am driving.

I found a website that claims the Yakima ladder rack will fit with the bed rail system, but Amazon tells me this product will not fit my vehicle.

A salesman on another website told me that the Yakima Ladder rack will work with an adapter kit (for the bed rails.) He also states that a RetractPRO XR tonneau cover will allow installation of the ladder rack over it. Again however, the website doesn't think either item will fit the Tacoma.

Is there a thread here somewhere that I am missing?

What is the point of the bed rails if I have to purchase a ladder rack that installs with drilling?

Who wants to drill holes in a brand new truck?

Caps with top rails is the norm I've seen on Tacomas of all years.

No problem. I went another direction with my tonneau and got a revolver x2, unfortunately I dind't have the same options so I'm working on a custom solution. Presently figuring out what I need for 8020 to accomplish what I want. Good luck and glad to be of assistance.
