Thanks for the info, trust me I know I have had my problems with taking my truck to have it worked on, I try to do whatever I can myself. I wish I was more knowledgeable to do the install myself. That is another cost I am dreading. Might have to find a good mechanical friend in the coming weeks. Lol.

It's just nuts and bolts. I couldn't find a suitable spring compressor to rent so I did the compress in place method and it was surprisingly easy and not scary. If you have a weekend, a good impact and you presoak all the fasteners with good penetrating fluid, like areokroil, it should take a max 10-12 hrs for a mechanically inclined first timer.

If I looked your coils up correctly they are a 590 lbs coil? How do they support that winch bumper? I’m lookin at 6112/5160s and was thinking I might need to upgrade from the 600 lb coil to 650lb coil to support the bumper. About 115 extra pounds.

    Same crap everyone else got
The bumper and winch have only been on for a couple weeks, so I don't know if they will sag. If I were to do it over, knowing I was going to get the bumper and winch, I would have got 886 coils. Which I still probably will eventually.

@VTacoma6, if you're in the market for more of a mid-level setup with a hard focus on longevity, dual-tube shocks like OME and Dobinsons will be your best choice. That's what I went with, since I'm trying to minimize how many times I have to shell out to get suspension components replaced.

Thanks for the input. I think I am going Bilstein 6112 and 5160 perfromace package from headstrong. From what I read that seems to be a great option at that price point, also read that it still performs good at the higher clip settings.

Second to highest setting being the fourth?have you settled at all? I have the sso hybrid bumper that adds about 115lbs. So I was thinking 650lb coil on 4th clip setting to get about 2.5 inches.
Do you have any pictures? Thanks.

That is a good choice. If memory serves, that setup is the same as the OEM TRD Baja suspension setup. I’m sure your springs will be different, but it’s still reassuring to know that the Toyota engineering team thinks it’s good enough to rebrand and sell themselves.

Yes, 4th position. I have not measured but if it's settled at all it's negligible so far.

If your want a picture of anything specific, lmk.

Thanks man that side shot makes your truck look really good. A lifted long bed is sexy, IMO. If my truck comes out sitting like that I will be stoked. Not too much rack either.:cool:

 I’m open to that being an option.
