    what are those rubber roof strips for on the roof? do they serve a purpose? my one side is missing and before i buy another one has anybody made a mod for that? like sticking something else in there or fabricating something ?

    theirs no holes in the metal underneath my rubber strips, just a small clip up front toward the windshield

    Had them on my 01 tundra, after a couple years they started coming off. Took some black rtv and stuck them back in place. Never had another issue.
