    I bought it to pull a Casita with - about 3500#. Waiting for the campgrounds to start reopening.

    there is a 3rd gen thread with lots of posts on camping - pics with what they tow. Short answer lots of us do. I tow tent camper 1700 dry weight. no issues. some tow much more. Just remember to us S mode when towing. Use of D mode will trash your transmission (presuming you have an AT).

    Here's a bump for the guy that has the sense to look to an ultra light camper, and not another I'm looking at towing this 23' camper that's 5,500
    Lbs dry, from coast to coast, will I be okay?
    Then proceeds to argue why he's still going to do it.

    2900 lbs empty, think like 4500 lbs GVWR - I'm towing it probably somewhere in the area of 3500 lbs but I've never actually weighed it even though I've got a WDH and dual propane tanks on the tongue.

    Tows pretty great to be honest and I wouldn't hesitate to tow up to 5,000 lbs GVWR. Over that, probably not though.
